To book a session with a trainer, first create your profile. Once your profile is set up, you'll be able to schedule sessions with any trainer of your choosing.

Training products are digital resources provided by trainers, such as PDF workout plans, eBooks, meal plans, and other downloadable documents. Once you purchase a training product, you will receive a link to download your files instantly. Or if you have a profile, you can download these from the Training Products tab.

You can submit an enquiry to trainers without signing in. Simply visit a trainer's profile, fill in the enquiry form, and they will receive your details to follow up with you directly.

You can join a virtual session using any smartphone or laptop with video capabilities. No software download is required. Go to the 'My Sessions' tab and click 'Connect' when ready to join. You can join up to 5 minutes before a session is due to start.

No, not all sessions are virtual. Some trainers provide the option for in-person sessions. To arrange one, simply submit a trainer inquiry with your details to connect with a trainer who offers in-person sessions and schedule this directly.

Yes, at this time, we only offer one-on-one bookings.

To book an in-person session, first, check if the trainer offers this option by visiting their profile and looking for the 'In-Person Sessions' tag. If available, you can submit an inquiry form with your questions and training preferences. Once submitted, the trainer will receive your contact details and the information you provided. They will then reach out to you directly to discuss and finalise the session details.

Complete your fitness profile to share your training preferences and goals with your trainer. You can also message your trainer with any comments or preferences at the time of booking.

Check the 'My Sessions' tab in your account.

You can cancel your session for a full refund up to 3 hours before the scheduled time.

If your trainer cancels your session, you will receive an email notification and a full refund.

To reschedule a session, please cancel your booking at least 3 hours before the scheduled time via the 'My Sessions' tab to receive a full refund. You will then need to re-book your session for your preferred time.

Make sure you have ample space to move comfortably. Review the trainer's session description in detail to understand what the session entails and any specific preparations you may need to make.

Messaging apps are commonly preferred, it's best to ask your trainer directly for their preferred contact method and guidelines for staying in touch. You're welcome to communicate with your trainer outside of the Myvirtualpt platform, so feel free to discuss the most convenient way to stay connected.

Trial sessions are available but are dependent on whether the trainer offers them.

We accept payments made through ApplePay, GooglePay, and debit/credit cards.

Paying trainers outside of Myvirtualpt is allowed, but please note that you won't be eligible for support or refunds in case of disputes.

We encourage all trainers who sign up to include their qualifications on their profile. However, no qualifications are needed to join.

Trainers get one month free on the Pro Plan with no card details required. After that, you can subscribe for £24.99/month or choose continue on the free plan. MyVirtualPT does not take a commission on your earnings, but Stripe processes all payments and applies a 1.5% + 20p transaction fee, which is automatically deducted before payouts are sent to your account.

Myvirtualpt uses Stripe, a secure and reliable payment platform to process your earnings. Simply connect your profile to Stripe during setup to start receiving payments from clients. You'll also have access to a payments dashboard, where you can easily track your income and manage your finances. After each booking is completed, you will receive a payout of your earnings directly to your bank account.

You can update your profile, add new training programs, or adjust your existing offerings by navigating to the 'Trainer Details' and 'Session Types' tab.

Virtual sessions are one-on-one video calls with clients. Once you create your custom session, this will become available for clients to book at your availability. When a booking is made, you will be notified and can connect up to 5 minutes before the booking. You can join a virtual session using any smartphone or laptop with video capabilities. No software download is required. Go to the 'My Sessions' tab and click 'Connect' when ready to join.

To add a new session for clients, go to the 'Session Types' tab. Here, you can create a new session by adding a title and a detailed description to ensure clients know exactly what the session involves and what they need to prepare. Set a custom price for the session and then publish it to make it available on your profile.

In the 'Trainer Details' tab, use our calendar availability system to customise your schedule.

To offer in-person sessions, go to the 'Session Types' tab and enable the 'In-Person Sessions' option. This allows clients to inquire about booking in-person sessions with you. When a client is interested, they will fill out a form with their questions and training preferences. You will then receive an email containing the client's contact details and the information they provided. From there, you can connect directly with the client to discuss and finalise the session details.

Yes, you can still use the platform to promote yourself and offer in-person sessions to clients.

Toggle the 'Profile Visibility' button to hide your profile and prevent new bookings.

We currently only support virtual one-to-one sessions.

Yes, you can customise your pricing for different session types.

The client's profile will be shared with you upon booking. Use this profile and any notes from the client to tailor each session.

No, there is no limit on the number of clients you can have. However, you can control your workload by managing your availability and profile visibility.

Clients can cancel or reschedule sessions according to the platform's cancellation policy. You will receive notifications of any changes, and you can manage these through the 'My Sessions' tab.

Yes, you may cancel a session up to 3 hours before it's due to commence.

Yes, taking payments off the platform is allowed, and we encourage you to use the platform to suit your business needs best.

To sell a product, go to the ‘Training Products’ tab, upload your file, set a price, and publish it on your profile. Clients can purchase these products directly from your page and receive instant access.

Yes you are free to connect with clients outside of the platform and arrange payment directly if that works better for your business. However, off-platform payments do not include Stripe's integrated payment protection.
